Our Zandona Carbon Air Heel Boots (also known as Over Reach Boots) were developed to protect the horse in any kind of discipline. They protect the horse from accidental impact and/or chafing of the coronary band, heels, and hoof wall.
The heel boots fit a range of pastern and heel variations, due to their flexibility and shape.
While able to adapt to these variations, they are still extremely solid and protective.
To provide maximum comfort for the horse, we have added artificial sheepskin to the top edge of the boots to eliminate any rubbing or chafing.
The boots boast a perforated neoprene layer allowing transpiration, and a high level of ventilation from 6 air vents.
Carbon Fibre elements have also been added under the shell to thermally insulate the joints from heat generated by friction. A secondary benefit from this is that the Carbon Fibre adds strength and mechanical resistance to impacts.
Secured by quick release elastic straps the boots have been calibrated to hold perfectly in place.
Finally, the Boots’ exact dimensions and ergonomic shape work with the straps to provide maximum support to the limb while avoiding and reducing any kind of stress.
